DIVING DEEP & BREAKING THROUGH

Applying literature to our lives.

Diving Deep is a free virtual study seminar open to all educators and readers.

It will focus on four books a year that are filled with applicable knowledge and will break down content, translating chapters into beneficial lessons.

We have a team of educators here to teach not only how to reap the most out of a book, but how to utilize those lessons in our lives and teach others about what we learned.

Sometimes a word is just a word, but sometimes a book can lead us to an epiphany and a teachable lesson.

This Book Club Event Is For You If...

You want literature to not only challenge you, but also give you clear, contextual understanding of a topic.

You are an educator who will jump at the chance to take and utilize a message in classrooms, offices, and at home.

You are a homeschooling parent or guardian looking to expand your own understanding to better educate your children and others.

We want every child to grow up in a world without bigotry, where their chances for success are on their own shoulders based on their will and determination.

Statistics from decades of peer reviewed studies all tell us the same thing:

that is not the world we live in now.

We need the tools to build that world and the right words to share, and strong plans for how to accomplish it.

Join us for our inaugural book club discussion series as we take a deep dive into discussing and modeling how to integrate anti-racist policies, procedures, and texts into the 7-12th grade classroom.

This event is for educators who are wondering how to get started on this path within their instructional space.

You don't have to read the books to join the conversation,

but if you want to purchase them, click the button below:

Book Club Quarterly Schedule

Educators are often left on their own when faced with topics outside of the set curriculum.

There are no standard classes to discuss how to live as a marginalized person or how to fight against it, nor how to grow up facing bigotry and biases aimed not at the actions of an individual, but at the individual themselves—because of what someone looks like or where they are from.

We are helping to arm educators to help students face the world they live in and break free from the mindset that these struggles do not exist simply because some do not fall within their affects.

With this knowledge we build change.

Educators will walk away with knowledge of what marginalized students face, resources and texts to assist them in engaging in these important discussions surrounding race and antiracism, and the confidence to continue the conversation into their community.
